..harvest and brake

Remember this blog post? Well, here is the result..

Chamomile was very easy to grow, but it got attacked by bugs. I found a tips online that I should spray milk on it, and it actually worked! Now I have harvested flowers three times already and made yummy tea.

The baby's breath did grow, but no flowers showed up.. I will have to try again next year.

I also have to inform you that I'm currently taking a brake from this blog. Way to much going on right now. But I'm excited to share that I will be back in a few months with a new concept, so stay tuned :)

You can still follow me at my photo blog - http://photobyrosenhoff.blogspot.no and I'm at Instagram - that you can find in the sidebar.

Thanks for reading my blog so far, and I hope you will continue to follow me when I'm back. Until then - have a great fall!

..flower crown

Recently I was enjoying the season by making a flower crown for my cousins adorable little daughter. After some dancing, singing and picking some flowers, the fairy princess and I brought it inside and put it in a shallow bowl.

Moments to treasure

..wedding flower decorations

I placed two very old cherry trees, decorated with hanging flowers in small glass tubes,
on both sides of the altar.

A simple DIY - project right there.

We brought the trees indoor for the reception. Great for decorating a large hall.

The bride and the groom were brave enough to plan an outdoor ceremony. In Norway that's not to common because the weather is changing so much, but this time it turned out to be great.

If you haven't seen it, check out part I of this blog post

..another June wedding bouquet

Yet again I've had the great honor of making a wedding bouquet. This time with peach and gray-green colors. I went for a whimsical look but still a bit clean. "Less is more" was definitely not the idea behind this bouquet. I wanted the bride to keep discover new things when she looked at it.

1.Rose  2.Wild Chervil  3.Silver Dust
4.Eucalyptus  5.Cherry tree 6.Carnation flower
7.Astrantia  8.Peony  9.Small pine cones

Pretty, pretty flowers

A detail for the bride, meaning something special for her.

The next blogpost will be about the other flower decorations I did in this wedding.

..life begins in the garden

An old beautiful plank just became our new shelf, old boilers are great for herbs and other plants. I LOVE summertime! With these pictures I'm joining NIB's contest in the last minute. This month challenge is "garden / patio". See more contributions here.

Tomorrow it's all about flowers and weddings!
